By accessing or using Proofline, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and Lawful Use

You may use Proofline only if you are legally able to enter these terms and you use the service for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You are responsible for ensuring your use of uploaded images, search results, and generated reports complies with applicable law.

3. User Responsibilities and Upload Rights

You represent that you have the right and lawful basis to upload any image or content you submit to Proofline, and that your use of the service will not violate privacy, publicity, intellectual property, harassment, surveillance, or consumer-protection laws.

4. Service Description and Limits

Proofline provides tools for reviewing public-web image matches and generating AI-assisted risk summaries related to dating verification, photo reuse, catfish detection, and romance-scam screening. The service is not a law-enforcement tool, background-check service, consumer-reporting agency, or identity-verification authority.

5. No Identity Guarantee

Proofline does not confirm a person's legal identity and does not guarantee that any result is complete, accurate, or conclusive. Results are risk signals only and should not be treated as proof of fraud, deception, or criminal conduct.

6. No High-Stakes Use

You may not use Proofline as the sole basis for decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, immigration, law enforcement, public benefits, or any similarly high-stakes determination about a person.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Proofline to:

• harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate any person;
• submit unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content;
• violate privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights;
• perform doxxing, covert surveillance, or non-consensual targeting;
• reverse engineer, abuse, scrape, or disrupt the service;
• use the service in violation of applicable law.

8. Accounts and Access

Users are responsible for maintaining control over their account access methods and for activity that occurs through their account.

9. Credits and Payments

Paid usage is sold through one-time credit packs. Pricing, credit rules, and refund policies may be updated over time. Payment processors may impose their own terms and refund rules.

10. Third-Party Providers

Proofline may rely on third-party providers for login, billing, monitoring, storage, face-search processing, and AI-assisted outputs. Availability and output quality may be affected by those providers, and provider-specific rules or outages may impact the service.

11. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including features, providers, plans, or pricing.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Proofline is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proofline and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, reputation, or business opportunity arising from use of the service.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe a user violates these terms, creates risk for the service, or uses the platform in an abusive or unlawful way.
